Phil
Meyer
 With
a background in commercial and construction law, together with
more than 20 years delivering government infrastructure in Queensland
(including road, bridge and water) Phil has become a sought-after
consultant for government and private industry teams in the procurement
of infrastructure and resolution of disputes. Having worked as
advisor for the procurement of the Gateway Upgrade Project, Phil
is currently commercial and technical advisor on that project.
He is also advising the Queensland Department of Main Roads on
the Toowoomba Bypass, and is a member of the procurement team
for the Airport Link Project. Other recent roles include providing
project and delivery advice on the Houghton Highway, Sunshine
Motorway, Ipswich Logan Motoroway Interchange and Townsville Ring
Road projects. Phil is an accredited mediator and has extensive
experience representing civil, building and electrical contractors
and government clients particularly through ADR processes. He
has assisted contractors to develop strategies to minimise losses
and then successfully deliver the project. Phil has also acted
as an expert witness. He is the leader of the Everything Infrastructure
practice in Queensland.
