Michael Fitzgerald

During 15 years in the rail industry, Michael gained extensive experience in modelling and developing business operations and developing maintenance strategies. Typical projects included project managing the RailCorp PPP Tender for the design and manufacture of new passenger vehicles for the Sydney suburban network. More recently, Michael has worked on a range of projects including the development of a public utility organisation’s head office at Parramatta, the Metropolitan Rail Expansion Program in Sydney, an energy utility’s alliance outsource of infrastructure requirements and a water supply distribution project in Queensland. His areas of expertise include developing and delivering major contract procurement models, especially alliance-style projects, and researching and identifying new business opportunities, including the formulation of stategic business plans.
