Hilton is a Civil Engineer who specialises in definition, documentation, procurement, delivery, completion and operation of infrastructure projects and transportation systems. Hilton also has extensive experience in the project management and contract administration of large urban infrastructure projects.
Initially, practicing as a structural designer of heavy industrial plants, Hilton then progressed to the management of projects from their inception, design documentation through to construction and maintenance phases, developing particular expertise in contract administration and construction verification. While living and working in South Africa, Hilton created and managed a specialist consultancy which specialised in management and procurement advice to local and regional government departments.
Since relocating to Sydney in 2002, Hilton has been responsible for a range of infrastructure assignments across the region. In particular, Hilton has been responsible for documentation of major urban civil engineering and systems projects relating to transport, facilities, ports and the like. In particular Hilton acted as the technical coordinator for the Port Botany Expansion project, and as part of the tender evaluation team on that project. Hilton also has expertise in project management and coordination, contract administration, including supervision, surveillance and certification, planning, programming and monitoring of major infrastructure work including maritime, road and rail projects. |
